The ASME SA240 Grade 316ti plate can have different types of surfaces such as 2B, 2D, checkered embossed or hair line. There are different finishes such as hot rolled and cold rolled as well. Some are even plastic coated. With the high tensile strength and yield strength similar to the 316 material, the Alloy 316ti coil is also used in high temperature applications like heaters, condensers and in boilers. The material has very high melting points just like the 316 material and can operate at high temperatures up to 870 degrees Celsius.
