Stainless Steel 310S/ 310H Sheet / Plate is made up of an austenitic stainless steel alloy material that is designated for high temperature services. The material has low carbon versions and high carbon versions that are appropriate for different applications. The SS 310 Sheet is used in fluidized bed combustors, radiant tubes, thermowells, petroleum refining tube hangers, burners, retorts and many other high temperature applications. the Alloy 310s Plate can operate at 1035 degrees Celsius temperature for intermittent services and at 1150 degrees Celsius for continuous services. The high operating temperature arises from the high melting point of 1454 degrees Celsius. The material is also strong, making the astm a240 grade 310 applicable for platforms, tankers, storage containers and paneling for high temperature applications.

The material has minimum 515MPa tensile strength and minimum 210MPa yield strength. There are different specifications and standards that govern the physical, mechanical properties and the dimensions of the sheets and plates such as the ASME SA240 type 310s plates and sheets.
