Titanium Flanges are made up of various titanium alloys and commercially pure titanium grades. The nearly 40 grades of titanium are used in different applications scopes. The specification for titanium flanges is the ASTM B381. The Titanium Pipe Flanges are used to connect pipes together with extra strength because they have raised or flat surfaces that can allow for maximum grip. There are different types such as the Titanium Steel Spectacle Blind Flange. The spectacle blind flange has two circles resembling a spectacle with one circle as a flat plate and the other as a ring. This is useful in maintenance systems where when the pipe has to be open, the ring of the spectacle is in place and when the connection has to be closed the flat plate is in place. The Titanium Alloy Slip On Flanges serve a different purpose. They align the pipes precisely by allowing them to slip onto the flanges. The orifice helps for extra connection grip and the standard defines the flange nominal bore size from ½ inches to 48 inches. The ring type joint Titanium RTJ Flange is used as a pair of rings. The rings are welded to pipe ends and then the pipes are connected together by welding, bolting or a combination of them. The Titanium Blind Flanges are used to close a connection. Where a permanent closure is required, the blind flange may be welded to the pipe. We also supply the ASTM B381 Titanium Threaded Flanges which are used with threaded pipes.
